The month of August was very hot with lots of new features and updates for WMSPanel and especially Nimble Streamer.
First, take a look at our latest State of Streaming Protocols for August 2014 which shows some dynamics in streaming protocols on the media servers handled by our cloud service.
Wowza customers are now recommended to upgrade to the latest agent version to enable disaster recovery for Wowza agent. It allows saving most significant portions of daily stats in case when Wowza server cannot reach WMSPanel due to some network issues.
In addition to currently supported servers, WMSPanel is now also Red5 admin and reporting panel. It provides full set of reporting features for Red5 from real-time data to daily stats and in-depth stats.
For those customers who need better system integration and who might like obtaining their data, WMSPanel now provides a set of APIs:

A couple of our customers decided to share their experience of working with WMSPanel products and allowed to make articles about it.
Rocksoft Cloud Media Solution used Nimble Streamer and WMSPanel for streaming largest sport event of this year.
Need to fully utilize 10Gbps bandwidth of your media server for live streaming? Use with Nimble Streamer for that.
Transmuxing RTMP to Icecast allows easily making online radio. We've also made a separate digest page describing audio streaming feature set of Nimble Streamer.
Transmuxing of MPEG-TS over HTTP to ABR HLS is now available. So Nimble now supports both HTTP and UDP transport for MPEG2TS.
For those users who would like to use Wowza Streaming Engine as the source of RTMP stream, we've made a how-to about publishing RTMP from Wowza to Nimble for further HLS transmuxing.
