September 2014 news

September brought us new features and a bit of publicity.

We were nominated for Streaming Media Readers' Choice Awards for 2014 so you can give your vote for WMSPanel any moment until October, 24th. We appreciate your support!

We've partnered with Vidillion’s Advertising Platform as a Service to use great streaming experience of Nimble Streamer for this excellent advertising solution from our long time partners.

Another announcement was made by Red5 team who were very kind to introduce our integration in their main discussion group.

As always, the latest State of Streaming Protocols is available for September'14 for those who liketo see some dynamics of the streaming market.

Let's see our products' updates now.

WMSPanel

Account admins may now give access to WMSPanel API for their end-users. Go you can just generate user-specific API key and add the new IP to the allow list for individual access for the data which is allowed by users's access permissions. Later on we plan adding further improvements to give more flexibility in access control.

Those who debug API usage may face difficulties accessing API from command line. Check the
FAQ: Cannot call API from command line for resolution.

Nimble Streamer

Nimble had a significant update for people from audio industry. We've added
Transmuxing Icecast/Shoutcast to HLS/MPEG-TS/Icecast which allows producing audio-only HLS as well as re-stream Icecast. Check our audio features page as well.

Dispersa

Dispersa users will find new streams monitoring history useful for tracking their streams availability. Premium Dispersa users can now get retrospective view on what was happening over time.
